DSBC Students Winter Camp

Details:
We are very excited to announce that we are going to Lost Canyon for our 2026 Youth Winter Camp! We will be joining other local churches for this awesome weekend.

Who:
 Junior High & High School Students
7th-12th grade

When: January 2nd - 4th, 2026

Drop-Off: @ DSBC at 2:30pm Friday, January 2nd.

Pick-Up: @ DSBC at 2:00pm Sunday, January 4th.

Meals:
We will stop for dinner before we get to Lost Canyon. We will not stop for lunch on the way home on Sunday. Students will need to bring money for dinner on the way up and are encouraged to bring snacks for the weekend.

All other meals will be provided by Lost Canyon.
A late-night snack will be provided by Lost Canyon on Friday night.

What:
Lost Canyon is known as one of the best youth camp facilities in Arizona. We have partnered with five other churches to rent out the campground. This means we have the ability and flexibility to put on a camp that will best fit our group. Our aim is to put on a camp that keeps students entertained, brings the Gospel, challenges them in their walk with Jesus, and creates once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Why:
The goal for camp is not only to have an incredible time but most importantly to grow closer to Jesus. This happens through powerful times of worship, gospel-centered teaching, small group conversations, and being around other Christian students and leaders for a weekend! Over the years, camp has provided students an opportunity to build relationships with other students and with God.

What To Bring:

• Sleeping bag, pillow, towel
• Toothbrush, toothpaste, other toiletries
• Flashlight
• Casual clothing; clothes for lounging, hiking, sports, bonfires, etc.
• Winter Jacket and clothes. It will be COLD! Check the weather as camp approaches as there is a possibility of snow at that time of year.  
•  Bible, notebook, and pen.
• Extra $$ for food on the road, as well as for the coffee shop and gift store at Lost Canyon.

What NOT to Bring:

• Gaming systems
• Tobacco products, drugs, alcohol, and paraphernalia
• Firearms, weapons (of any kind)
• Pets or other animals 
• A bad attitude

Payment:
Camp Cost: $280
A non-refundable deposit will secure your spot: $50
The remaining balance needs to be paid in full by departure 1/2/26

Scholarships:
Through the generosity of DSBC church members, we are able to offer some scholarships for students in need of financial assistance.
